Her career began in fashion and beauty PR with prominent brands such as Zac Posen, Ports 1961, and Estée Lauder, where she developed a keen understanding of positioning and storytelling.

As the Director of PR and Talent Relations at Paper Magazine, Janjay played a vital role in establishing the company’s creative marketing agency, guiding strategies for renowned clients like American Express, LVMH, Target, Converse, and Pernod Ricard. Following her tenure there, she launched her own consultancy focused on brand strategy and marketing, aiming to forge meaningful connections between brands, culture, and creatives.

Her work includes partnerships with notable agencies, brands, and talents, including Visa, Stripe, Parkwood, AWGE, Madwell, The Gathery, Dwyane Wade, Farfetch, The Weeknd, and Diageo, among others. A proud second-generation Liberian, Janjay’s roots span from Los Angeles to Kansas City, with her creative journey culminating in New York, where her blend of west coast energy, midwest heart, and east coast hustle has shaped her unique approach to storytelling.
